Yes, the restaurant lived upto its name.....
Nahh, i am not talking about the rajdhani's gujarati food , the thali , buffet or the ambience... i am talking about how it made me come back to Rajdhani!(Delhi)
It was a tiring day, when i had no food (obviously cooked!) at home and was in no mood to do the cooking(not that i am an expert chef but can help myself out).. So, while coming back from my office at Andheri , i called a friend and asked if he would like to go out for dinner. and he readily agreed(A friend in need is a friend indeed was the philosophy he believed in :)..will write soon about him too ). So, we went to the Mall : Inorbit or Oberoi...i dont remember.. i guess Inorbit only and placed ourselves in the Oh-So-Famous Rajdhani Hotel. We obviously ordered 2 thalis.. and started indulging ourselves in the variety of colourful welcome drinks...

And so when we were done with the As-Much-As You Can Eat Dinner, we hardly had an idea of what will happen the next day! We went back to our respective homes only to wake up at around mid-night to that horrible stomach ache. Still, being loyal and faithful to our resp. companies(no,no its not about my pet dogs but me! ), we went to our office.....
Late evening: Homeopathic Doctor
Early Morning Next Day : Got admitted.... food poisoning....
Afternoon: Friends and Colleagues came for visiting...
Late Evening : Mom Rushed in...
After 3 days : Boss referred my case to Head HR and helped with my transfer to Delhi.
After 10 days : Reached Home !
And so Rajdhani worked in its own nice way of getting me back to home! And also made me realise that its not everyone you think who would be there when you need them the most... My friend's colleagues: Rupali and Steve: People i had seen for the first time were more than helpful and my near and dear ones(yes , i am pointing out to one person in particular) was least bothered.
Family always is an exception and holds you throughout..
Neways, that is a separate story... Not that its always the same in Rajdhani as i have myself been there many times before and after this incident...
That was mid June of 2010 and now it is mid july of 2011... but still i remember the pain of making rice for yourself for eating curd-rice when you are suffering from stomach ache and obviously cannot order outside food... The wish to be at home at that time was so strong that i hardly looked at or thought of the other side of d scene.......

It is a big trouble for people who have to eat outside, always...
I had written my take on it:

So this incident turned out to be helping you to relocate! Amazing! :) Take care...
